Each Thursday at 7pm, the Mediator Fellowship becomes the Mediator Stage, host to an open mic event of live music and a 30 minute Featured Artist performance by a professional musician - this week's artist is Kim Moberg.
The Stage is a listening room fashioned for the sole purpose of providing an intimate space where performers can be received with appreciation and respect; a place where the performers and the audience come together. In fact, you could be one of them! Starting at 7pm, anyone can sign up for a slot to perform.
Musicians are welcome to play covers or original material, and the Stage has several pianos, a drum set and a PA system for use. The Stage is open to other performance types as well — poets and spoken word artists, comedians, mimes, sword-swallowers — anyone can get up and do their thing.
Open Mic Night may be attended freely without appointment or membership.
Support the only 100% musician run, non-profit Open Mic and Songwriter Showcase Venue, a Listening Room where musicians and performers of all types and skill levels are encouraged to get involved. Spoken word artists welcome too.
